Sculpture in Schools

Sculpture in Schools was part of our pilot year at Sculpture House. We invited artist Debi Banerjee, who then brought in artist Morwenna Kearsley, to design a programme of activities for pupils from our two local primary schools. Working with Glencoates and St Fergus Primary schools, just down the road from Sculpture House, our resident artists developed sculpture projects with groups of P5 pupils. Starting with six taster sessions, we aimed to establish regular sessions, welcoming the pupils to Sculpture House to explore a variety of sculptural materials, techniques, and projects.
