Summer Social 2024

Our second Summer Social was brimming with creative joy and neighbourly fun. Back again were our friends from the Darkwood Crew, rolling up with their brilliant Bingo Bus to host another lively round—complete with prizes, laughter, and plenty of community spirit. Artist Aby Watson brought Face Paint Feels, painting moods rather than themes onto faces, while Morven set up her kick wheel for The People’s Pottery Project. Here, visitors had the chance to throw a pot on the wheel and then onto the floor, contributing to a playful collaborative vessel. As always, the day was rounded out with Sculpture House tours and food sizzling on the BBQ—a true celebration of making, sharing, and coming together.
