Summer Social 2025
Our third Summer Social took place on 16 August and brought together a wide range of activities for our local community. Laura Spring and anthropologist Charlotte Linton led a natural dye workshop, introducing dyeing techniques and processes. Alongside this, Morven Mulgrew facilitated an inflatable sculpture workshop, where we worked collaboratively to construct a large-scale flower bed.
James Rigler provided tours of Sculpture House, giving visitors insight into the studios, workspaces, and our future plans for the building. A drawing workshop took place in the front room, offering a relaxed space for people of all ages to take part.

The day also featured a table-top ceramics sale, showcasing a wide variety of pieces created across our workshops during the year — from plates made by children at the local nursery to demonstration samples produced for teaching different ceramic techniques. All proceeds from the sale were reinvested into our community programme.
