Summer Social 2023

Our first Summer Social took place in June 2023 and set the tone for what has become a much-loved part of our annual calendar. Open to everyone, the Socials are designed as a welcoming space to meet the artists of Sculpture House, take a guided tour of the building, and get involved in creative activities. Whether arriving alone, with family, or even with the family dog, all are warmly invited. With food and refreshments on hand, the atmosphere is always relaxed, friendly, and inclusive.

For this inaugural event, our front room was transformed into a lively creation station, where families worked together on a room-sized collage. A highlight of the day was a lively game of Bingo, hosted by our friends at The Darkwood Crew — our Garden was filled with concentration, laughter, and cries of “eyes down!” It was a joyful coming together of different communities, from Ferguslie residents to local artists, sharing food from the BBQ, playing games, and enjoying the buzz of creativity and connection.
