Summer Social 2024

For our second Summer Social, we just had to invite back the legendary Bingo Bus! Originally dreamed up by The Darkwood Crew during the pandemic, the Bingo Bus was created as a way to reduce isolation and bring some joy to people’s lives — parking up on streets, calling out numbers from the bus to neighbours listening with their windows open. Always up for fun, they brought it back to life for us, and it was a hit — with everyone, young and old, joining in together.

Resident artist Morven Mulgrew set up her pottery wheel, giving participants the chance to try their hand at throwing a pot. Alongside this, we hosted a lively BBQ and a fundraiser, selling studio test pieces and samples donated by Sculpture House artists. The day brought together food, creativity, and community spirit in the best possible way.
