Pick It Up!

Morven Mulgrew: 17 Midland Road, Bristol, 6-9th February 2025

PICK IT UP! was an installation by anti-disciplinary artist Morven Mulgrew, bringing together the work of 20 Scottish artists in dialogue with 20 Bristol-based artists. Each artist was invited to create a receptacle for drinking, which was displayed throughout the exhibition. Visitors were encouraged to pick them up and use them, transforming the show into a collaboration between audience and object. Playful and DIY in spirit, the installation explored the relationship between objects, food and the body.

The exhibition took place at 17 Midland Rd, Bristol, from 6–9 February 2025, supported by VACMA with installation by Reeves and Bond.
