Our first project at Sculpture House hosted the Prince’s Foundation Building Arts course students for their end of course project. The Building Arts Course allows professional artists, craftspeople, designers and others to develop skills such as ceramic tiling, plaster, stained glass, textiles and furniture. The students completed projects for the house including bespoke encaustic tiling on the entrance steps and disabled ramp, a stained glass entrance screen, clay plastering, beaten copper lighting, and a handmade bench with a naturally dyed woven seat.
